A Story of Good-over-Evil

This is for the kids at St. Jude's Childrens Hospital...Kids stayed tuned, this great story has no end...

Rolled in off the muddy field western beat,
pushed thru the saloon doors not using my feet.
Every cowboy turned and set their eyes on me,
Rolled to the tender and said one hot Earl Grey tea.

You could see some tough ones in the back,
guns were their name,
They slowly got up and headed my way to start a game.
They said, "hey, short boy shouldn't you get ready to roll?"
As I unbuckled my vest to show three 44's as I said, "you're not pokin' fun?"
"Are you losing your soul?"

Well, there was 4 of them that I could really see.
I said again "are you still pokin' fun at little ol' me?"
"Hold on let me put my breaks on so I can really see"
They just laughed until I pulled a stick of dynamite from between my knees.

Well as the story is told into this very real day,
Old time cowboys still alive and well enough to say.
Those four cowboys ran out of that bar so fast,
some still swear they didn't even see them go past.

Well the moral goes and many believe it too.
That rolling ol' cowboy was really real and it's all true.
All they remember about this folklore smiling lad,
was that he was given the famous name Rollin' Glad.
