'Touched By Angels', yes a TV show. I never missed a show and met all three main actors in Salt Lake after eating at a place called the "Southern Plantation" run by some super family of African-American people that I have an autographed menu telling me to get well soon when I was real sick. I have autographed pictures from those three actors also. Anyway, I watched this show because it believed in good values and there was a "God," but other than that the show was not anymore in my belief column..Sort of, how do I say this softly...they believe works get you to Heaven where I received a free pass by just believing and that would cause my reactions to be of "Christ" and not of good deeds, which I also will do and have, but not to get me further into Heaven, but to Glorify His Name and make me feel blessed..Anyway, I do this every time..I wonder from my train of thought...

Dogs, you tell them they are part Hebrew Levite and his faith is so strong he shows off and walks on the water...Rookie, Christian dogs, try to be like a show off, until they find out a Christian is a Christian and that Rookies start out on warm milk before they face the hard stuff..I'll find the Scripture to explain what that means because that sort of sounds contradicting but it isn't..Just means all Christians are equal but they are like putting a Kinder gardener next to a PhD..

You grow each day with knowledge and The Lord uses you "to teach you" if you have the desire and patience and read the Word daily, but some Christians come out shouting the Word before they really are strong with Faith and Knowledge of the Word and fall flat on their face .. and I am using Brutay as an illustration..His next picture shows him sinking... he took a step out where he didn't have the mature Faith yet and sunk..Anyway back to the point

One day in '77 I went fishing at this pond that a friend of my brother, Shawn, the one I sin and sometimes call him a big Redneck, that lives in Memphis with his Beautiful wife, Janalee, and his three "Jesus" loving kids..Let me see ah..Super Computer...Shawn M. Jr., William Britton (he is going to kill me, I mean have you seen this 5 year U of M x-linebacker) and of course my dear Holley Marie (I call her Holley Mary). Anyway, there was this hill that is like tilted so much that on dry land it took me 2 seconds to get down it and 30 minutes to climb it..Well, there were a lot of 1lb or 1-1/2 pounders in there wanting to be caught..I went around 0600 (6am to non-military or non Fed-EX people) and fished till around 1700 (again that's 5 PM). No one there but me..Only two entrances to this pond, from the owners dock and through me..Well it started raining real hard and I knew I had to hit the hill before it became mud..I lost to the mud and 74 mosquitos..Now remember I said two ways to get there..anyway within minutes this wooden boat pulls up and these three guys get out and without talking lifted my chair and me to the top. I turned to say thanks and one of them said, "If you believe in Jesus you can get out of that chair and walk. "I said thanks I'll think about it" and left...Not till four years later did I remember that happening, it was in a Bible Study Class and it hit me like a bull dozer..I had chills run through my body and in my mind I saw it all happen as it did then, except this time they were wearing Hebrew Jewish clothes..

Were they real Angels and could I be walking today?......If I only had faith and truly believed, or was it for me to grow through?..If that is the case..Praise God Almighty for taking the time for a sinner like me...And I know for you stronger and more worthy Christians that this can be waiting right in front of you soon..Something even more Glorious..Amen to that.............I believe in Angels, do you?

Take me for a long-short ride to the southbound freeway,
I feel no expectations in this town, got me no reason to stay.
Thank you for the offer I wish I could go along,
but this boy's got to let it slide to wherever he does belong.
Well thank you, sir, it's nice to make a friend, I'll get out, let you go, maybe we will meet again.
I'm out again on this lonely road to Heaven who knows where.
Counting these autos that pass me by with my thumb waving in the air.
Thank God, they are stopping, looks like long hair, my kind,
but did I know in this car, what I would find.
I opened the door to two beauties, I'm here to claim were swell.
Singing about Jesus and singing about burning in hell.
They sure were into Religion, Religion yes, by far.
I looked at a sticker on the glove box, it said "Jesus drives this car."
They ask me if I was a Christian, if I had given it all to him.
I said, "I thought about it, but chances were still a little slim."
We rapped on a many of miles with them sharing all they could tell.
I began to feel this "Jesus" and worried about this hell.
As all good things seem to end, they pulled over for me to go alone,
those two Christian girls, the best I've ever known.
Well, I'm down here in Texas now not a penny can I claim,
but I'll make it now, you see, believing in "His" name.
So to all of you on the road that's riding on your thumb.
Turn it over to "This Man," do it before he will come.
The moral of this story, one I did learn well,
either follow and believe in this man or just burn it out in hell..
