Testimonies

Have you people noticed whenever I bring up something a Christian person should not do...some how I seem to have learned that from the fact I was guilty of it at some time or in most cases a lot of times? ie: Brutay..my loving Golden Retriever scenario. When I felt the excitement and change of becoming a Christian I forgot to do away with "I," "Pride." Just jumped on the mature Christian Band Wagon and went to being as smart as Billy Graham, Tom Phillips, (you should talk to this dude, I met him through my brother and this guy hasn't stopped buzzing like a new Christian feels when he first emerges from a Baptism just a beaming) or any other super touched with the Spirit, book smart Christian.

I not only fell on my face or sunk into the water but let the devil (I stopped capitalizing the devil's name since he is not a proper noun) convince me I was never saved anyway or this wouldn't have happened to me. That is when (you people have read the Mustard Seed poem haven't you?) I learned about someone's Faith being as small as a Mustard Seed could move a mountain.

I started back to college and was cruising along and we had this big test in Accounting and I studied all weekend at home and went to my brother's (yes the one I call that loose slang word, used mostly at southern guys in the south) for help. I took the test and made a 67 on the test and with anything below 70 being a D. I dropped the course and told my brother I had been out of school to long and couldn't make it. He said have "Faith"..Well, to get to the lack of faith..I stayed in school and went by to tell the Prof I would try again next semester..He was not there, but the final sheet of those grades was....After the curves were posted...the fourth highest grade out of over 75 students was me..20 point curve based on grades...I had made a 87 on the test...

Oh where was my faith? So like jumping out to be a Billy Graham Clone I fell to the inventor of a lie and had been victim of lack of Faith. Now I saw I needed to believe and read the Word and Pray until I have grown and gained at least a Mustard Seed amount of Faith. I was like Brutay and did what he did in dog motion ...Later...Amen

Have any of you heard "Shot Down?" (Larry Norman)...It's sort of the way I want to be remembered after I am gone, if I go before the 2nd Coming..The devil can (sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me) send people of the world at me, but I am as strong as Joan of Arc or the Nine day Queen, they stood by their beliefs..If my history is correct they both died for their Christian Beliefs, but if it's an incorrect folk-lore, then let me be like Stephen..

Whoa...That is putting me with some heavy duty people..Don't ever think He made the mistakes "I do." But isn't it great that I can wish and try to practice such an incredible life-style? (Didn't say impossible). And you know what? If anyone asks Jesus into their life, they are "cleansed from all their sins up to now," and are able to attempt the same possible desire.

Double Whoa, that excites me...uh-huh..yeah uh-huh...Amen and Amen......Do I hear my Webmaster-etta in the back ground screaming an Amen?

Still gave my Honor-brite I would not give out her where-a-bouts..Only because she is a gardener and good at it, but she is still pretty young, and some uneducated people only think Golden People that have learned everything already and are retired, are the only ones who do this sport, hobby..gift...She still wants those who know more than she does about gardening to keep sharing with her. Because she loves to live and learn and not be "bugged" by those who think such incorrect things about gardeners.......and whew....Amen

He's not on the ballot, but I also wear a 2004 shirt of his...reminding me be careful who you vote for, but vote...every vote counts. No, again Larry is not on the ballot, but some of his issues from his music should be..VOTE..Amen
